режиссер читает комменты на своем бложике и просит ему не указывать, что делать

And, of course, I’m reading all the SH comments posted here. Really enjoy (well, mostly) reading what you guys post. Everything seems to be pretty friendly at the moment and I’m keen to keep it that way. Only thing I would ask; don’t simply post me a list of instructions for things I must do with the movie. I’m never going to respond to that kind of thing as there’s no way I can usefully or creatively engage with you when being barked at. You’ll notice that I’m remaining pretty evasive in answering questions too, that’s only because it’s inappropriate to be specific at this stage, the producers hate me giving anything away (and would rather I didn’t even have a blog if I’m honest) but more than anything, it’ll spoil the surprise when you walk into the theatre. And I wouldn’t want to do that.
http://michaeljbasse...pdate-14-11-10/1. Is your story very close to the plot of Silent Hill 3?
2. Will this movie try to move away from the first film and really focus on the game’s story?
3. Are you going to really try to emphasize practical effects (prosthetic, animatronic) as opposed to CG?
4. In your opinion, do you think that your screenplay of Silent Hill is darker and more horrific than the first film?
5. Are you going to try to incorporate all of the characters from SH3?
6. Will there be less people wandering around SH this time?
7. Will the “Closers” be in the movie?
8. Are you going for an epic horror film?
1 – By very close, if you mean a direct transcript of the game, no. Is it using SH3 as a template, yes.
2 – Movie 1 exists and this is going to try and bridge movie 1 and game 3 as well as work for a none SH audience.
3 – Practical every time.
4 – Yes. Much darker.
5 – Not all. Some.
6 – I don’t think there were a ‘lot’ last time. Haven’t really given that a lot of thought at this stage.
7 – I love the Closer design but haven’t decided on which creatures specifically will appear other than ones that have a direct story impact.
8 – Of course. What would be the point otherwise?
